2. Overview

The public pages of this website do not set cookies and do not use any third-party tracking, advertising or analytics services. For anonymous visitor statistics we evaluate page views on our own server (see section 5). Beyond that we only process personal data as far as necessary to operate the website, to handle your enquiries, for the client area, or to play videos at your request.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd. / Hostinger operations, UAB). When you visit the pages, the server processes technically necessary data (server log files): IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer URL, and browser and operating system information. This serves the secure and stable provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider stores log files only for a limited time. A data processing agreement exists with the hosting provider.

4. Contact form and e-mail

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, topic, optionally date and place, your message and the time of the enquiry) to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

The enquiry is sent to us by e-mail and additionally saved in a protected file on the server so that no enquiry is lost. This backup copy is deleted automatically after 12 months at the latest. Messages in our mailbox are deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention duties apply.

To protect against automated abuse, the form uses an invisible extra field and a timestamp. No cookies are set. To limit the number of enquiries per hour, a non-reversible hash of your IP address is stored briefly.

5. Anonymous visitor statistics (no cookies)

To understand how our website is used, our own server records each page view: the page, date and time, chosen language, the website you came from (referrer), device type, operating system and browser (from the user agent) and your browser language. From your IP address we automatically determine the country and the name of the network operator (e.g. your internet provider or the company network you are using); this is done with a locally stored database and no data is passed to third parties. Your IP address itself is not stored.

To recognise repeated page views we create a non-reversible identifier from the IP address, the user agent and a random value that changes daily. The random value is deleted every day, so visits cannot be linked across days. No cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in analysing and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted after 14 months at the latest. You can object at any time (Art. 21 GDPR), e.g. by e-mail to info@goinvideo.de.

6. Client area “Backstage”

Clients receive login details (username and password) from us to download their films and photos. We process their name, company and e-mail address where applicable, and the files provided, to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Passwords are stored only in hashed form.

To prevent misuse and as proof of delivery, we log logins, failed login attempts and downloads with time, file name, amount of data transferred, IP address, the country and network operator derived from it, and device type/browser (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). These logs are deleted after 24 months. Logging in sets a technically necessary session cookie that is deleted when you close the browser or log out (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

7. YouTube videos

We embed videos from YouTube using a “two-click” approach: no data is transmitted to YouTube when you open a page. Only when you actively start a video do we load the player via the extended privacy domain youtube-nocookie.com. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, then receives your IP address and other technical information and may store cookies or similar technologies on your device. The legal basis is your consent by clicking the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time by closing the video and leaving the page. Video preview images are served from our own server; no connection to YouTube is made when the page is displayed.

8. Fonts

The fonts used (Fraunces and Manrope) are loaded locally from our server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or other external servers.

9. External links

This website contains links to Instagram, YouTube and other sites. Merely visiting our pages does not transmit any data to them. Once you click a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Simply contact info@goinvideo.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
